As Thanksgiving approaches and I begin to get things together for baking, this is when I have time to think about what I am thankful for. My Family, for the children who are always there for us. For good health. For all my animals who give me such joy! (Well lets be honest, sometimes not so much joy!)
For my husband Tim, always by myside, loving and supportive! To all of you much love and respect! For those who have lost loved ones this year, It will get easier, and you are loved! For those family members who have lost touch or feel forgotten, know you are loved! Thank you and Everyone have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!! When Tim and I bought our house I wanted it to be like a cabin on our farm. Nothing that would take me all day to clean! I wanted to enjoy the land and our lives. I have been so happy with our decision....until the dreaded question. Where am I going to put my Christmas Tree. For those of you who don't know, This is an enormous question! See I collect Santa's and have for many years, There are about 14 tubs of Santas and a Christmas Tree that has over 500 santa ornaments with a holiday train that goes around it! Yikes! Well I have some thinking to do......Where do I put it.................to be continued.
While I was making the bed this morning I could hear a funny sound! It was coming from outside. It was almost a ripping sound! I slipped on my houseshoes and armed with a flyswatter I went to investigate. Slowly and quietly I made my way to the side of the house. All the while I am trying to decide would I really use my flyswatter! After finally deciding I would be brave, I discovered the source of the noise! All I could think of was You guys are so in trouble when your dad gets home!
Every other day or so I go and check my bird feeders. They are still filled with birdseed, I see birds flying by but no one is stopping to eat!!! Until...I go out today and discover why!!!!
The other day when I came into the kitchen I heard Rosie barking out back on the porch. She would whine then bark. When I went and looked, I discovered what was the source of her discomfort. One of the kittens (Babe) was laying in her bed with her toys, and boy was she upset!! LOL! Rosie after much persuading, got Babe out of her bed. And then peace!!! This lasted for about a minute when another one of the kittens did the same thing, LOL! OH Well! Four more to go!!
