Lyrical Heart is a collection of over 50 inspirational poems ranging in style from the simplistic beauty of the haiku to the majestic acrostic. This diverse book of poetry can be purchased from many popular online bookstores; Amazon, Barnes & Noble, The Book Depository, and Books-a-Million: just to name a few. Also available in a Kindle version at amazon.com FROM THE AUTHOR: My wish is to help support the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation through the sale of my poetry book, Lyrical Heart, to honour the life of longtime friend & sister-in-law, Sharon Joanne, who lost her fight on 28th Dec 2013, Age 50. Therefore, any future royalties I may receive from my publisher I will donate 15% of total gross proceeds to help raise awareness & provide vital funds for the early detection of this gynecological cancer. I am proud to put my heart into such an important cause. Thanking you all in advance. And a huge thanks to fellow author and friend, Lauren Boehm-Lynch, for offering to advertise my book here at her beautiful website.

Shaun's First Deer!

Picture
Shaun Cole Barrow 6 yrs. old harvested his first Doe on The Broken Road Farm with his Pa, Gary Karr!

A quote from the young hunter, There was a pile of deer and I choose this one.

Picture
Just love when the experienced hunters teach the young ones how to hunt! On The Broken Road Farm we eat what we harvest! Safety and being legal with respect for the land owner is always taught!

Picture
Telling his story again! LOL! That never gets old!

His smiling face and energy brought back memories of my son Nick's first hunt!

It also brought back memories of Tim's son, Dakota's first hunt!

My husband Tim Lynch finally shot this huge Hog on the farm last night!

He has really torn up a lot of the property, so now that he is gone we have a lot of repair work to do!

Picture
I must admit, I had to ask Tim three times if it was dead before I would even get out of the truck to take pictures! LOL!

Picture
No more cam pictures of him!

So cold right now on the farm! And there is still lots to keep us busy! It's an everyday chore making sure all the animals have what they need!

Picture
Lucus and Poe came for a visit, we had to get out and enjoy some sun! All the boys are always ready for a Bow lesson!

Poe getting his turn!

And for all of you who always ask, Thorn is doing better without his Rosie. We still have good days and bad days, but over all he is better. He loves when the grandkids come, he is always ready to run and play!

Picture
The deer have still been coming in, even though it has been very cold!
