But it didn't help that Rosie kept stealing Tim's pencil and running up to the house with it! By the third time Tim said he just gave up! LOL!

At first I thought I would reflect back on the last year, good or bad. But I had a thought, I don't want to think about regrets or things I could have done better. So I decided to look towards the future with positive hopes and wishes!
I can't wait to experience raising goats, and the wonderful friendship with Tacy and her family. I can't wait to plow and plant the garden and feel the warm sun on my face. I also can't wait for the surprises life brings, and being a farmer's wife there are many! I am not so naive anymore as to believe there won't be challenges, and hills to climb up, drama, or sadness. But that is a part of life. I can't wait to see what the future holds for my children's books and writing for The Poolville Post. I can't wait to follow this broken road with Tim and his love and respect. Really what I can't wait for is to just continue to live my life for whatever comes in this New Year! ![]() Finally we are at the point of putting up the goat's house! Now if the weather will hold! ![]() The roof is going up! Cold but still sunny! ![]() Wow, it's beginning to look like a house!! Wont be long and the goats will be here at their new home on The Broken Road Farm! ![]() And because it's Texas weather, it changes. Oh well, guess we will have to finish the goat's house another day!! Lol! ![]() We are getting closer to having our goats on the farm! Tim just likes building their house! I so can't wait! ![]() We went to Tacy's house today to learn all about feeding, trimming hooves and giving shots! It was so much harder then I thought, but it was great fun watching Tim trying to hold onto the goats! LOL! ![]() It was so funny, at one point they were biting my jacket, while trying to get into my pockets and see what I had! ![]() The big white goat is Tuff, he belongs to Tacy. He is so sweet, I can definetly see why she loves him! ![]() It's 7:30 one morning, my phone rings, it's Sophia telling me to please come get her, she needs to have hot tea with Nana! LOL! ![]() Sophia laughing as we talk about having tea! (And the fact that Emily was still asleep and doesn't know she is with Nana!) ![]() Mastering the art of a tea cup! Finally! ![]() Sophia moved the chairs together so that she could be in the middle of PawPaw and Nana! ![]() Not only did our little morning visitor have to have hot tea with Nana, she somehow talked PawPaw into making waffles as well! |
