When done, cool completely, then serve with vanilla icecream and pour some of the leftover caramel sauce on top!
Homemade Caramel Sauce:
2/3 cup of packed brown sugar
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of heavy cream
Place the brown sugar and butter in a sauce pan and cook on medium high for about 5-8 minutes, just let mixture cook without stiring. Remove pan from heat and add cream. Be careful this is hot and will bubble up! Completely mix together, and set aside until ready to serve!
