Angel Food Cake!

Sift 1 1/2 cups and 2 tablespoons of sugar until fine.

In another bowl, sift 1 cup of flour and 1/4 teaspoon of salt, until fine.

Beat 15 egg whites until frothy, then add 1 teaspoon of cream of tarter, gradually add the sugar slowly and continue to beat until egg whites form a stiff peak.
Next add the flour and salt mixture a little at a time while folding it into the egg white mixture.
Then sprinkle 1 teaspoon of vanilla and fold in.

Place in a angel food cake pan that has been lightly sprayed with Pam.
Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
When done take out and turn over pan, until cake is completely cooled.

Smothered Venison Roast!

In a iron skillet, melt one stick of butter, add:
 1 chopped onion
 3 cups of mushrooms
 2 Tablespoons of parsley
 1 teaspoon of salt
 2 Tablespoons of garlic pepper
 2 teaspoons of paprika
 2 teaspoons of cumin
Cook until onions are just soft.
Next prepare you venison roast by soaking in 2 tablespoons of vinegar for 2 minutes, then rinse well and pat dry with paper towels. Now add 2 Tablespoons of butter in a iron skillet, salt and pepper venison roast place in skillet, brown on both sides. Next place in you crockpot, then add onion mixture on top, then add 3 small cans of Campbells Beefy Mushroom soup. (don't add water) Cook on high for about 4 hours, until roast is tender. When you take the roast out to slice your gravey is already done! You can also use a beef roast.

Mammaw's Cherry Pie!

It's Megan's Birthday and what does she want......Mammaw's Cherry Pie! Not only did I make the pie, I also made her homemade whipped cream! Happy Birthday Megan! I wont say how old you are, you are after all getting at the age you start caring if people know! LOL!

Mammaw's Cherry Pie!
Pie Crust:  2 cups of flour
                  1 cup of crisco
                  1 cup of cold water
Mix flour and crisco together. Add water, using hands work into a nice dough, soft. Divide dough in half. Place half the dough on a floured surface, roll out, and place on a greased pie pan.
Next add 2 cans of cherry pie filling, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Take 1/2 of a stick of butter cubed up and place on top of the cherry mixture.
Roll out the other half of the dough for top. Pinch sides up all around pie. You can cut slits in center of pie or cut out a shape before putting on top. Brush butter on top of pie and bake at 300 degrees until golden brown.

Deer ChiliĀ & Chili Cheese Fries!!!

1 pound of ground deer meat ( you can use hamburger meat)
1 can of Rotel (Mild or Hot)
1 onion chopped
1 garlic clove chopped
1/2 cup ketchup
3 Tablespoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
2 teaspoons of pepper
2 teaspoons of cumin
2 teaspoons of paprika
Cook the deer meat in a large pot, when beginning to brown, add onion and garlic. Next add remaining ingrediants and cook on medium heat. Let chili simmer for about an hour, then its ready to serve!

Wash and cut up one potato per person. Place fries on a greased baking sheet. Next drizzle olive oil on the fries.
Season the fries with whatever you prefer! I use salt, and garlic pepper.
Bake at 400 degrees until golden brown!

Place fries on plate, Cover with chili and cheese! Yum!

Broken Road Farm Fudge!

3 Cups of Sugar
3/4 cup of butter
2/3 cup of evaporated milk
1 12oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 7oz. jar of Kraft marshmallow cream
2 teaspoon of vanilla

In a pan, combine sugar, butter, and milk. Bring to a full rolling boil stirring constantly, for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted, next add marshmallow cream, and vanilla. At this time you can either leave fudge plain or add 1 cup of any nuts you prefer. You can also crush up peppermints and add also.
Place in a butter greased 9 x 13 pan. Place in fridge for about 15 minutes, take out and cut into squares!

Pasta Salad!!

Pasta Salad
Break into bite size pieces and cook 1 (12 oz) pkg. of Vermicilli
When cooked drain and place into a large bowl.
Take 1/3 cup of olive oil and 1/3 cup of lemon juice and mix together well, pour over vermicilli, mixing well and set aside.
Next chop up 5 stalks of celery
                      1 bunch of green onions
                      2 seeded jalapenos (fresh)
Add this to bowl of vermicilli.
Add 1 small jar of sliced green olives (drain liquid before adding).
Add 1 jar of Hormel real bacon bits.
Add 1 sm. pkg. of cheddar cheese grated
Add 1 am. pkg. of swiss cheese grated.
Add 1 sm. pkg. of parmesan cheese grated.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Add 3 Tablespoons of Miracle Whip.
Mix well.
Place in refridgerator to cool.
This is even better the next day!! Keep in airtight container!!
