Slice your Tomatoes about 1/2 inch thick, I use tomatoes that are semi ripe. Heat a frying pan with olive oil to about medium heat. Season tomatoes with salt, pepper then lightly flour both sides of your tomatoes. Fry until golden brown. Serve with homemade Marinara sauce or bought! Great for an appetizer or meal with spaghetti on the side!

I just use Jiffy Pizza Dough 2 boxes make as directions on box indicate.
Place dough on a sheet pan, cook in oven till dough starts to turn brown. Take out of oven and place Provolone Cheese all over top. (You can use any cheese you like) Next I add thin sliced tomatoes, thin sliced yellow squash, thin sliced purple onions, chopped up banana peppers, dried parsley, pepper, and salt. Bake at 400 until cheese is completely melted! Tip: you can also put pesto on first and then build your pizza so good! Enjoy! That's What's Cooking on The Broken Road Farm!!! |
