Venison Meat Balls!

Mix 2 pounds of ground venison with, 1 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, one small potato peeled and shredded, 2 teaspoons salt, 2 teaspoons of black pepper, 1 Tablespoon of garlic, chopped, 2 teaspoons of parsley. 2/3 cup chopped onion. Mix well.

Place in a skillet with about 1/2 cup of olive oil and fry until brown then turn over and fry.

Next in a bowl Mix together, 1 can of tomato sauce, 1 can of stewed tomato, 1 can of mushrooms, 2 teaspoons of paprika, 2 Tablespoons of oregano, 1 Tablespoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt.
Pour mixture over meatballs, cover with lid, and simmer for about 30 minutes until meatballs are cooked through. Serve over noodles of your choice or rice.

Homemade PlayDough!

Mix 3 cups of flour, 1 1/2 cups of salt, 6 teaspoons of cream of tarter, 3 Tablespoons of oil, and 3 cups of water.

Place all in a pot, heat on medium high and stir constantly until mixture forms a ball. Remove from heat, kneed dough for a few minutes.

Next separate dough, use food coloring to make into your favorite colors! Just place a few drops and kneed to mix. Place in containers and place in refrigerator when not in use!

Yummy Noodle Bake!!

Ground one pound of hamburger meat and one pound of venison sausage. (You can use regular sausage also, hot or mild)
Cook 1 bag of large egg noodles.
When noodles are done, drain and place in a large bowl, mix in one can cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 heavy whipping cream, 1/2 onion chopped, 2 teaspoons salt and 2 teaspoons of pepper, now mix well.
To the ground beef and sausage add one can of Hatch chopped mild green chiles, mix well.
Now take a baking dish, put in one layer of noodle mixture, next add one layer of hamburger meat mixture now add one cup of grated mild longhorn cheese, continue until both mixtures are gone. Bake at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

Summer Soup!

Take 1-2 lbs. of hamburger meat, ground in a stewpot, Next add:
1 Chopped onion, 2 cups of cut okra, 2 cups of cubed potatoes, 2 cups cubed yellow squash, 1 can of diced stewed tomatoes, 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 teaspoons of black pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic salt, Mix well.
Next add 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, and 4 cups of water.
Cook on medium high heat until vegetables and potatoes are tender.
Serve with crackers or cornbread!

Broken Road Crunch!

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper.
Pour 2 cups of Chocolate Chips onto the pan, spreading out.
Combine 3/4 cup of coarsely chopped salted cashews, 3/4 cup of coarsely chopped Macadamia Nuts, 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup sugar, and 2 Tablespoons of light corn syrup in a heavy sauce pan.
Cook over medium low heat until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved, then increase heat, stirring constantly until mixture begins to cling together and turns golden brown, this takes about 6-10 minutes.
Then pour mixture over chocolate chips, spread evenly. Refrigerate until chocolate is firm. Break into pieces. Store in a plastic container in a cool place.

Pan Fried Okra!

Wash and cut up your okra in a bowl.
Next add 1 teaspoon of salt, 1 teaspoon of pepper, and 1 cup of yellow cornmeal. Mix well.

Pour about 1 1/2 cups of oil in your skillet, then pour your okra mixture in.
Slowly fry over medium high heat, stirring constantly.
Be careful not to burn, turn down heat if this happens.
Continue to cook until golden brown.

Strawberry Chocolate Brownies!

1 box of Betty Crocker Fudge Brownies.
1 Jar of Strawberry Jam (Homemade or Bought) I used homemade Strawberry Glaze!
1/2 cup melted white chocolate.

Prepare the brownie mix according to the package directions.
Pour into a 9 x 13 greased baking dish.
Next take the Strawberry Glaze, heat in the microwave for 35 seconds and pour  into the baking dish with brownie dish.
Next swirl the two together until spread evenly in the dish.
Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes.
Remove for oven place on cookie rack to cool.
Swirl white chocolate over entire surface while hot, now let cool completely, then serve.

Oven Fried Squash!

Wash and slice your yellow squash
Pour 1 cup of cornmeal into the bowl along with, 1 teaspoon of garlic salt, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of black pepper.
Mix well.

Spray a sheet pan with pam.
Next place your squash on the sheet pan making a single layer, then drizzle with olive oil.
Bake at 400 degrees, until golden brown.

Serve as a side to your garden salad!
