Take 2 lbs. of hamburger meat
1 lb. of sausage (use venison, you can use pork)
1 chopped onion
Mix together and cook until done. Set aside.

Picture
In a pot add 3 cans of Hunts Tomato Sauce
2 cans of Hunts Stewed Tomatoes
2 Tablespoons of Hunts Tomato Paste
1 Bay Leaf
1 Tablespoon sugar
4 Tablespoons oregeno
4Tablespoons of parsley
4 Tablespoons of garlic salt
1 teaspoon of salt
1 Tablespoon of black pepper
1 Tablespoon of olive oil
Mixing well and simmer on stove for 30 minutes, then add ground beef, simmer for 15 minutes more, and turn off heat. At this point you can use sauce for spaghetti or continue on for lasagne.

Picture
Next cook 2 packages of the lasagne noodles according to package instructions.
Start layering noodles, then sauce, then cheese, (I use longhorn mild and parmesan blend with Fontina, Asiago & Romano cheeses). Repeat until you get to the top of your glass cassarole dish.

Picture
Cover dish with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, then take off foil and continue to bake for another 5 minutes.

Picture
This receipe made 1 large dish and 1 small. So The Boatright's had lasagne tonight also!!
Enjoy!
